Acoustic Night Bristol

Here's a million things you need to know before you come along:
Acoustic Night is fortnightly. Halo is on the right as you come up Gloucester Road from the city centre, inbetween Somerfield and The Bristol Flyer.

We have 17 slots, half for spoken word and half for music. We get a high standard of performance, but this is a place for people to learn to perform.

Don't be scared, the audience is lovely.

Be there at 7.45pm prompt to register, slots go incredibly fast.

We start at 8.15pm and finish at 11.30, with a 20 minute break.

Each slot is 10 minutes, that's 2 songs, or 2 poems.

If you go over that by a long way you are taking someone else's time.

Musicians please tune up before you go on stage. Tuning up makes dull entertainment.

We are acoustic. Please don't just come along and play us something you've recorded.

We are a non profit organisation run by volunteers, so donations of all sizes are gratefully accepted.

Please don't talk while others are performing. It's important to show respect. And please remember we do it because we love it, we get stressed and screw it up from the time to time. We do our best to accommodate you. Please be nice to us. And have a great evening.
